My First Blog Camp In Kumasi

Education and fun characterised the 2015 Blog Camp at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology where among other activities was the Blog Walk organised into three groups.
My group was the #AdumGang led by Akosua Konadu Owusu, competing against the #SuameGang and the #AsafoGang.
The three groups had two hours to capture and post pictures of their respective communities; Adum, Suame and Asafo, explaining the activities and way of life of the people.
My group, the #AdumGang started slowly but steadily with a strategy backed by teamwork. Time not being on our side, we managed to capture real, un-photoshopped and on-the-spot pictures of Adum, the central business district of Kumasi.
Enjoy our journey, smiles and teamwork as we pushed hard to gain the first position from the bottom which came with a prize regardless, but a zeal to earn more in subsequent Blog Camps.

YALI Network Kumasi Chapter

The first general meeting is bringing about 50 young leaders from all the 10 regions of Ghana for a day of brainstorming of ideas. The meeting will focus on tackling the issue of unemployment among young graduates in Ghana.

Members will pitch their ideas on how to implement their project. This Yali Network meeting is not one of the several meetings where people meet and drink and nothing happens thereafter

but a meeting to dialogue and set the pace, to erase the ill among University graduates. The first YALI Network Ghana general meeting is coming down to Kumasi on 1st May, 2015 at Ghana Health Service Conference Hall, Adum-Kumasi.
